The nightlife in Pattaya is sectioned in different parts of the city, which encompasses most of the city venues. Setting the nightlife aside, Pattaya also has some of the best restaurants in Thailand serving international cuisines of every variety. The beach activities are very fun including boat rides out to the islands, scuba diving, snorkeling, parasailing, jet skiing, and more. Jomtien Beach
Pattaya has two different communities, Pattaya proper, and Jomtien Beach. Both have bars, go-go bars, gentlemen clubs, and massage places. But, Jomtien Beach is a little quieter with less aggressive girls, smaller bars, and loads of gentlemen clubs. Pattaya Walking Street – Pattaya Nightlife
Walking Street is the most famous area for entertainment in Pattaya. You can find most everything on Walking Street. During the day, it is a regular street with cars, motorbikes, and taxis traveling on the street bringing supplies to the various restaurants and bars. The day-time Walking Street looks rather benign and boring. Then, at night, the road is blocked at both ends and only pedestrians are allowed. The neon lights come on and the street is transformed into an entertainment paradise.
Some of the bars are consistent and stay in business year after year. Many of the locations are frequently changing owners and every new owner has their own name and style they want to apply. So if you visit Walking Street often, (monthly or annually) you will see changes and different bars from the last time you visited.
As you walk down the street, you’ll be entertained by street performers, girls clamoring to get you into their bar, young girls selling flowers, beggars asking for money, girls also walking the street looking for customers (free-lancers not associated with any bar), and lady boys also tugging at you for your attention.
Take a trip down the small streets to find some very interesting places for entertainment. You’ll find the drinks at the bars on Walking Street more expensive, and the girls also want more money.

Soi Buakhao
Soi Buakhao is a close runner up to Walking Street. The bars and massage places in this area have been enhancing their signage and quality of their venues. If Walking Street seems too crowded or too crazy, ask a tuk-tuk to take you to Soi Buakhao. Soi Buakhao is a street running north-south between South Pattaya Road (Pattaya Tai) to Central Pattaya Road (Pattaya Klang). Wander around these establishments and you’ll find a nice place to drink and girls to your liking. The drink prices are less and the girls demand less money compared to Walking Street.
Soi Buakhao has everything you may need including hotels, restaurants, and markets in addition to the bars and massage shops. This area has bars, go-go bars, soapy massage and gentlemen’s clubs. Almost a city within the center of Pattaya.
Soi 6
Soi 6 is a street that intersects with Beach road. This street has also been developing and changing to attract the Walking Street crowd. For some reason, this is a popular street for police raids. The police will come in to look for underage girls, drugs and people under the influence of drugs. They usually don’t bother the foreigners unless the foreigner is seen doing drugs. This street is mostly populated with bars and go-go bars. Plus, an unbelievable number of girls and lady boys are found on Soi 6.
The fun never stops on Soi 6, every night something new lightens up the night. There are a couple of restaurants on Soi 6 in case you get hungry for some food.
Soi 7 and 8
These two streets are not as busy as Soi 6, but they also have some bars and entertainment spots. Soi 8 has a decent Mexican restaurant and a go-go bar. You’ll find some fun and more girls and lady boys on these streets.
Gay Bars – Pattaya Nightlife
Of course, Pattaya has some of the best gay bars and gay entertainment spots in the world. The center of the gay venues is on Soi 3. There you will find Boyz Town and many other hot seductive spots.
