The Khon Kaen nightlife is located mostly in the center of the city.  Many places are in the area of the Kosa Hotel and the Pullman Hotel.  This area is where you’ll find nightlife venues targeting the foreigners.  In this same area, you’ll find some excellent eating establishments such as the Blues Bar, and My Bar. There are not any go-go bars in Khon Kaen but the Khon Kaen Hotel has the closest thing with many girls dancing on stage.   

You can find places to fulfill your needs or boredom, but you’ll have to look a little harder.  You can always ask a tuk-tuk driver (if you can find one who can speak some English) to take you to a bar with sexy girls.  This type of adventure, alone, can be an experience.  Tuk-tuk drivers will always take you someplace where they will get a kick-back by bringing them business.  But, can be worth the adventure.

There are massage shops all around Khon Kaen and you never know which ones will provide extra massage services.  The rule of thumb is the shops that look expensive that are nicely decorated – may or may not provide extra services.  The massage shops that look more bleak or not so nice are nearly always a sure thing. Aside from the Udon Thani Nightlife, Khon Kaen offers a nice variety of venues to entertain the foreigners.  Some places have been around for several years, and others come and go.  So every time you visit Khon Kaen, look for any new places that may have popped up in this same area.
