Pattaya Walking Street

Without question, Pattaya Walking Street is the most entertaining place in Thailand and maybe the World. With the many bars, restaurants, street performers, holiday activities, and beautiful Thai girls, there is always something happening on Pattaya Walking Street.

During the day, the street is a normal street, a continuation of Beach Road. With lots of congestion from trucks delivering supplies and restocking the bars and restaurants for the next night of fun. You can drive on this portion of the street during the day, but at night, all traffic is blocked and only walking is permitted.

Pattaya Walking street begins at the south end of Beach road and continues to the Pattaya marina at the other end. During the day, it is rather benign, but at night, all the neon lights and signs light up the night and creates a mood of fun and adventure. Just walking from one end to the other and back will provide you many eye fulls of interesting and memorable things to see.

Pattaya Bars

There are three types of bars you will find on Pattaya Walking Street; Full service bars, Bar Girl bars, and Go-Go bars.

The full service bars are more about entertainment with live music, good drinks, billiards, and having a fun atmosphere. My favorite bars on Walking Street include Black and White bar, Lucifer, and Rolling Stone 2. The Black and White bar is geared towards hip-hop and techno music and attracts that age group. Lucifer has either a Jazz or Blues band playing in the front, and the back section usually has hip-hop music playing. Rolling Stone 2 is all rock and roll usually with a live band.

The Bar Girl bars also serve a full line of beer, wine and liquor, and have many many girls to help entertain you, play snooker with you (be careful, they are very good players), and hopefully go back to your hotel with you. These girls are fun, clean, and will show you a great time. These bars generally have lower bar fines and are more flexible with the girls.

The Blues Factory, located on Soi Lucky Star just off Walking Street, is a great place for booze and great live Blues, R&B, and Rock music. One of the best live music places in Pattaya. The more sleezy bars with more erotic girls are found on the small streets that shoot off from the main street. Explore the bars on these streets and you may get your desires satisfied quickly. Take a bit of tip money with you as there is plenty to do with many girls who will be looking for a tip for their services or performance.

Go-Go Bars

Go-Go bars seem to all look the same to me. They all have nearly naked girls dancing on a stage with numbers attached so you can easily choose a girl to have fun with. Most of them are pretty boring, with the exception of the mostly naked girls dancing, walking around, and sitting on your lap. The bar fines are usually much higher to take one of these girls out with your. The girls seem to be much younger that work the Go-Go bars.

One exception to the typical boring Go-Go bar is Angel Witch, which is found on Soi 15 from Walking Street. This place is the most entertaining as far as naked girls performing a show. You don’t see the typical pole dancing here. Each show included several girls performing a choreographed routine. The scantly robed costumes come off quickly, and the dancing and show is very fun. A much higher class place which does not have a cover charge, but the drinks are a little expensive. A fun place to go to and a “must see” when going to Walking Street.
